Korean Linguistics

The Korean Language and Cultural Centre is domiciled in the Department of Linguistics, Languages and Literature, in the Faculty of Arts, is located on the third floor of the Education Building at the Main Campus.

The centre was established in 2013. To date, 200 students are undertaking Korean language certificate courses and over 30 students are pursuing the language at the bachelors degree level.

Arabic Studies

In Arabic linguistics, Arabic language is studied from a scientific perspective. Students registered for B.A. Arabic Studies begin their studies   

M.A. Arabic Studies take course units in which they are taken through Arabic phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, semantics, sociolinguistics discourse analysis and pragmatics.
