It was a beehive of activity as University of Nairobi staff and students celebrated Mental Health Day on November 3, 2021 at the Manu Chandaria Auditorium, UoN Towers, Main Campus.
Prof. Chris Wanjala had interests in African literature. She opined that the late academic gave critical perspectives on African Literature. “He had interests in Performance Arts as well”, she said.
In her concluding remarks, she noted that Prof. Wanjala was a giant on whose shoulders many stood and as they studied Literature.
The Department of Linguistics, Languages and Literature and the Embassy of Italy will on Friday, October 22, 2021 will host a conference dubbed "From the Dark Wood to Paradise: Dante Alighieri at University of Nairobi."
The initiative, is part of the "Week of the Italian Language in the World"
